For portion control to be optimal, you actually want to eat 4-6 meals. You want to eat every few hours to fit in each meal.  You want every meal to be no larger than your fist.

This has been discussed by many public nutritionists as being the most appropriate size for each meal.

The best meals are those that contain a source of slow digesting carbohydrates, protein and fats.

Walking to lose weight is much easier than running. Many people are actually unable to run either due to a medical condition, age or a weak cardiovascular system.

Not only is it easier, but walking to lose weight is also better on your knees. Whenever you run, you put a lot of tension on your knees. This built up tension can cause problems down the road.

Make Sure To Start Off Slow

But walking does not have to be boring. You can listen to music while you walk to keep yourself entertained.

Me personally, whenever I walk to lose weight, I like to listen to audio books that I have downloaded to my phone.

I think that it really does make the time go by fast. Not only can you get stuck in a story, but you can also educate yourself while you walk. It will be as if you were just watching television. I hardly even notice an hour has been up, and I enjoy my walks.

I’m telling you now, you will be insanely amazed at the results that you will make just by walking!

You will burn the fat you need in no time. All you literally have to do is scale back 45 minutes to 1 hour a day to do it and it will definitely work for you.
